Having seemingly won the game and three points late on through Josh Koroma, a controversial penalty late into injury time gifted Bristol City a way back into the game at the death.

An open, energetic and enjoyable encounter, the Terriers out a poor second half against Preston North End behind them and put in a performance to be proud of, limiting the chances against them whilst creating openings of their own at the other end of the field.

Having enjoyed the better opportunities and made attacking changes, the game appeared to be heading for a goalless end with less than 10 minutes of regular time to go, but hard work and endevour gave Town a late and deserved lead.

Created by the returning Jack Rudoni, his deflected ball across fell kindly to Koroma at close range who made no mistake with his right boot, making it two-in-two for the in-form forward.

Looking like taking all three points with the home side fast running out of ideas, Bristol City were awarded a penalty 98 minutes into the game, with only five additional minutes having initally been signalled. Blocking a low cross, Ollie Turton was judged to have handled and former Town striker Wells made no mistake from the spot.

An unfortunate end to an otherwise promising afternoon, the Terriers now have two all important home fixtures against Swansea City and Birmingham City to build on that performance.
